Dear Aisha,
stay calm, we will get through this. It isnt the first time that such a tragedy is happening. Think of the plague in the middle age, the Spanish flu , Ebola and other diseases. The difference is that at that times there were no medias and people had no clue what to do. Of course, there will be changes in our society, but we cant get depressed. Depression is the first step to illness, it weakens us.
So those you are religious should pray . Those you are specialists should search and find a cure. But nobody should despair.
A big virtual hug for all of you.

I would post it on the teachers caf though I know not many people go there. Useless to blow A Wine of panic on the forum. Maybe useless is NOT the right Word. Lets say not really appropriate. Take care MONIQUE

Hello again ;-)
I agree with Monique, dear Asha :-S
The fact that I do not agree with you does not really matter - but you have been voted spam four times now. Maybe you should edit and "change" the content of your message - maybe you will not ! Your choice.
I understand times are difficult - with a lot of stress ! Maybe some people here from the World do not realize what is going on in our countries...
A lot of stress for everyone ; many problems - just to go shopping or see a doctor...etc !
Many of us are really having a hard time.
As a French teacher/person, I cannot go out anymore - just like in Spain or Italy. And we all Watch Tv, and hear and see the increasing number of sick people - or dead ones...But I am Lucky to live in a country where the health services are ...free.
Still, as Silvia pointed out, doctors are working all over the world. I Believe in science. I am so grateful for their Wonderful job - though a bit depressed these days ;-)
I do think these kinds of posts are not really helpful, nor really about teaching English - as this Wonderful site is meant...
I do hope you will understand my point, dear friend...
Take a good care of yourself,
and everyone...
Val
edit : and please come back here again : No one has been making jokes, nor laughing at you...Smart people understand these are really hard times, and surely understand. ;-))

Hard times, indeed. Although not as bad as some epidemics humankind has undergone - and come through, though with much loss of life and grief. We just need to hope for the best, while being kind to each other. And I should keep schtum on this prayer matter, I suppose, but... I should keep schtum. (Edit)
Lighten up, folks. Smell the coffee and enjoy life while you can. Aisha, please be positive! And if you stop posting on here, it will be a terrible loss to us.
