I would go for a). For it to be b) it would be better to put but rather than and. The more natural utterance would be �She hates performing in front of an audience and so do I�. It would also be better to add too. She hates performing in front of an audience and I do too. |

I would go for b) because a) is incomplete without "so". If there weren�t any suggested answers, I would say either "And so do I" or "Really? I don�t". |

I say that both of them need another word (too in choice a and but in choice b), so neither one is right, and neither one is better. I agree with the others, we either need "and I do, too" or "but I do not." Bruce |
