Text book to enhance kids communicative skills

Can you please recommend a very instructive text book for kids with stories ,dialogues games and role plays.I have tried many books but most of them do not enhance our kids communicative skills

I like "The English Ladder" for young beginners (age 7-10). It has lots of stories with speech bubbles, so you can act out dialogues. The accompanying workbooks are well-designed too.
