Could you help me with a doubt?
 
I know Edinburgh is pronounced " edinbruh" but is it incorrect to pronounce "edinburg"?

Yes, it is incorrect. There is no no g sound in Edinburgh. Edinbruh is good, or making that -bruh- into two syllables as in -Edinberrer.
