5000 Points to Become a Moderator
|
At its height, it was not so difficult to pick up 5000 points and to thus become a moderator, but these days, even if you produce topnotch worksheets almost daily, it will take quite a while to get there. Many veteran moderators, including myself, are not so active on this site, so moderating falls upon a few dedicated members. I am suggesting that we lower the points requirement for to become a moderator and thereby, hopefully, increase the number active moderators on ESL Printables. If I recall correctly, which I probably do not, then take it back to 2000 points, as it used to be.
Just a suggestion.
Regards, David |

I agree David! And 2000 points sounds reasonable. |

That makes sense. While I am here, I see so many of my worksheets on pinterest but with a liveworksheets copyright mark on them. I never put them on there. I would not mind, but apparently that liveworksheets section does make money. There is never anywhere to report them. Should I care? Maybe just a tiny amount. Worse things happen at sea. Lynne |

Lynne, sorry to hear about your worksheets being put on liveworksheets without your permission. You can report that here Contact | Live Worksheets and you could provide them with a link or links to your worksheets to prove ownership. I had a similar problem with someone selling my worksheets on Teachers pay Teachers and another site. I dont know if they made any money off it; I certainly didnt. |

He he, thanks David, I will follow that link. As for posting on here suggesting and hoping for changes, one may as well whistle in the wind. whistle in the windTo engage in a fruitless or hopeless task; to try to produce an effect or influence something with no real hope of succeeding. |

I had the same problem, and I notified them, but they havent even answered. I dont think there is a possibility to change that. Once something is published on the internet, it is kind of public. |

Lynne, many years ago I reported someone for sharing my work without permission or credits, so I complained to Google, and gave proof of ownership. They blocked those worksheets from showing in the search results. Now I cant be bothered to complain.
Im whistling, also.
