Personally I like when teachers ask questions here, because it makes me think about things.
In my opinion: #1, 2 and 3 are fine.
#4 Without context it is difficult to tell if this is correct, but probably "What things do you think of when you hear this?" #5 is fine. #6 is grammatically fine, but a little unclear. #7 we can t really say, "he is tragic." Do you mean "he is depressed/very sad"? ("tragic" is more commonly used to talk about stories or situations, not people.) #8 is fine #9 do you mean, "we set the table" (put plates on the table) or "we sit at the table" (we sit in chairs close to the table)? #10 on Mother s Day ("in" is for bigger periods of time: years, months, seasons, etc. "on" is for days) Hope this helps!

Hi Noor
one is good
two is good
three is also good
four is unclear..... What things? I prefer saying What do you remember when you hear this?and I totally agree with Mr. ameliarator it should be within a clear context.
6-You can t describe somebody as tragic.You only decribe someting
e.g What a targic accident?
I don t like to read stories with tragic endings.
eight is good
nine You should say set the table not set on the table.
set=prepare sit= using a chair
10 on not in like on Monday |
