STOLEN OR NOT?

Hi everybody!! Its me again. Unfortunatelly Ive found another doubtfull worksheet. The situation is that the page MAGIC VOCABULARY. net (worksheets and games generator) that belongs to the same group of eslprintables has got pre designed activities. "Follow the path" is one of them. Is it right to upload a worksheet generated in magic vocabulary as if it belongs to a member of eslprintables? Probably he/she chooses the animals but the format isnt of his/her own. Lets look at http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=105292&modo

As someone said in this forum this is a never ending mess! The exercise is from magic vocabulary, which is a tool to generate exercises you can pay for, right? So, the layout is from magic vocabulary that provides that service, but the choice of animals is the members choice. Can it be considered stolen? I really dont know. |

Hi, there. I think the situation is quite simple. To know if you have the right to use materials created in Magic Vocabulary you have just to look for the sites "end-user agreements and rules" and read it carefully and completely. If there is/are no explicit mention(s) forbidding the use of the result materials elsewhere than your own class. I think you have the right to upload/share them in ESLprintables. Logically, since the site just provides you with the tools and raw material , the final result is your own creations thus it belongs to you.
Hope this can make things more clear.
