Wll, we can say: I went swimming yesterday morning.
If I want to express a similar idea about Tom and boxing is it wrong to say: Tom went boxing or should it rather be Tom did boxing yesterday morning ?
I know we use do with boxing but here I m a bit confised...

Actually, as a US native I always say "I box", "I wrestle", and "I do yoga". Unfortunately I don t have a good explanation as to why. |

Thank you Douglas! That s why the do/go sounded strange with boxing and wrestling...
It s more natural (and normal) just to use the verb "box" and "wrestle"...
Thank goodness for Douglas... I was wondering why it sounded so strange to me!! Now, I know.. (it s been a really long week for me... )
