please
I want another meaning of : A close friend
2-
Must the answer In the negative questions be yes ?
e.g. Don�t you think it is bad ?
So when we use negative questions
please help me

Hi Noor,
A close friend can be an intimate friend or one of the best friends;but all depend on the context.We use negative questions when we expect negative answers,and short answers to them are often ambiguous.

You can say bosom friends (meaning very close) or kindred spirits (which does not necessarily means they are couple)
As regards negative questions I agree with harim. It has to do with the speakers expectations, but obviuosly the answer may differ.
