�I wasn īt sure that people outside of the British Isles would get it though so I īm just curious. - Are you Polish or British? � Did you mean: 1) come across it or 2) understand Susan Boyle īs Scottish?

To answer your question, I just wasn īt sure if this type of performer [or style of music] would appeal beyond Britain. To be honest, I hadn īt even thought about her Scottish accent. The fact that so many of you from different countries were impressed by it though answers my initial question very clearly. Obviously, she appeals internationally, not just in Britain.

Oh, Helen, she DOES appeal beyond Britain! She definitely apeals to me a lot! What a voice!

I got choked up by just how much emotion was in her voice and how she was able to hold certain notes.... This woman deserves to win - and if not, I am sure some theatre group will grab her!!
