|
Hi, everyone!
I ve finally moved house and prepared a three-page printable handout to the song-winner :)
The Winner is "ALL WOULD ENVY" - STING - 32 Votes
I can t upload the printable here (there s something wrong with the server I guess), but you can download it at http://www.travelbtm.com/songoftheweek.htm
Thanks to all who voted for the songs, hope you ll enjoy the activities with your students :)

Thank you Damir! I have already downloaded your handout and I am looking forward to the opportunity of using it in my classes. Our teens are so demanding that I believe that if you found videoclips of more modern singers whose songs are so absorbed by our pupils, we would be even more grateful.... Today, for example I used a video clip of a German music which was "animated" by a group of Irish pupils who had applied to an international context. Teachers were supposed to vote in the video(done by the pupils) which had the best relationship with the lyrics of the singer. The winners will get a free ticket and stay for a week in Germany - so we had to listen to 40 groups I chose one called "Jetzt ist Sommer" by the Wise Guys. My pupils had to order some captions according to the scenes they were watching in the video, they completed the gaps, and we discussed the song... By the end of the lesson they came to me with their MP3, cards etc... they all wanted to see if again at home. This has been a very rewarding experience and I am willing to use more video clips ...
I am not criticising.... but since you are so willing to help us.... this is just another idea... Thanks a lot for your materials, which will fill one of our 90 minutes lessons! Have a nice weekend!
