							| In Canada we use sandbox.  I have never heard anyone referring to a sandbox as a sandpit.  I would tend to agree with Linda and Douglas that sandpit sounds more like a sand quarry.  It �s quite interesting to discover that a sandpit is in fact a sandbox. |  25 Apr 2009
