hmmm.... �transportation � is how many of the early Europeans arrived in Australia... & it �s from British English... I believe it may be a little archaic, but correct none the less.
Anyone ever heard of �transports of delight �? Spike Milligan, no less...
You can have many modes of transport or transportation...
Douglas is spot on about �fruit/s �.
Anyone for "There are many fruits in abundance, but apples are my favourite"

"The banana is my favorite fruit."
"Bananas are my favorite fruit."
"Apples and bananas are my favorite fruits."
This is how I would say it, but I �m not promising it is 100% correct. |
