Which sentence is correct :
1- I wish you a long, healthy and happy life.
2- I wish you a long, a healthy and a happy life.

First,why do you call it childish? It �s a very interesting question.
Both sentences are correct.The most common is the first one;but we can use the second one for emphatic.

harim - you �re spot on with your analysis. No 2 is more emphatic than no 1, but no 1 is more commonly used.
