Hi there...

I wonder if anyone can help me...

I need songs I can use to introduce the degrees of adjectives (comparative) or as exercises to consolidate The Simple PAst (irregular verbs).

Where can I download them? And the lyrics?

If you have some in your files, please, would you e-mail them to me? I d be really grateful!

Thanks in advance

Greetings from Portugal
Lucia

How about "MY LOVE" by Petula Clark? (My love is deeper than the deepest ocean, wider than a mile...softer than.......etc...) I don t have it on a worksheet but just google up the lyrics...it s a very nice one to use.Smile

For comparatives (as...as) I use the song "Beauty and the Beast". For other comparatives, I can t think of a song right now. As for simple past, the song "Because you loved me"by Celine Dion is very good. My worksheet on the song may be useful to you http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=119025#thetop. I focused exercises on simple past. I hope it helps.
