Hello, could you tell me the meaning of What a hog!! in the song "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly" It says "What a hog! She swallowed a horse!" Is it like "what a disgusting thing to do!"?

To call someone a pig or hog means they are greedy with food. |

hog = pig
idiomatic it means something like to take an unfair share or overabundance of something for yourself.
A "roadhog" hogs the road (takes up the whole road for himself and doesn t let anyone pass)
and as already said to call someone a hog or pig means they are greedy with food, but it cam also be with other things |
