Welcome to
ESL Printables,
the website where English Language teachers exchange resources:
worksheets, lesson plans, activities, etc.
Our collection is growing every day with the help of many teachers. If
you want to download you have to send your own contributions.
You can easily make your own board games...just draw a simple board and then stick pictures in each square. You can adapt it to your students needs.
For example, an elementary class working with jobs vocbulary might just land on the square and make a simple sentence about the picture. "She is a vet. She likes animals." With the same board you could do an activity with intermediate students, thinking about what qualities you need to do each job. "She s a vet. She s probably very patient and caring." And with an advanced group you could ask them to think of the dis/advantages of the job. "Being a vet can be very rewarding, but it s also challenging as the animals can t tell you what s wrong. Also you might have to work long hours."
