i also watched the vid you put up on youtube

ESL Classroom Activity: Dictation Through Noise
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMKOijUz3aU

and it s great. i mean, the idea is fabulous especially with larger groups and even more especially with younger ones who indulge in shouting and screaming, so that the very few shy ones would really have to make an effort to be heard in the concoction of deafening sounds! i had my students stand opposite one another at a greater distance (against opposite walls) and ask and answer Qs. It all starts with almost a whisper and ends up in a ... riot! And they all end up bending towards the other partner, and even going fwd a step or two! lol! Thanks for the vid again! I didn t know this one with the music on! I ll try it first thing! Thumbs Up
nite, nite! Sleepy
