Definetely yes!

It can help a teacher to give final grades plus it is a valuable for learners as well.
It is always a pleasure for me looking back at university or even high school portfolios.

I USE PORTFOLIOS WITH THE BIG ONES
FOR EX. NOW THEY HAVE TO MAKE A PORTFOLIO BASED ON SPECIAL DATES: IT IS CALLED MY PERSONAL CALENDAR.
BUT THEY HAVE DONE FAMILY AND PERSONAL PORFOLIOS TOOO.
IT�S A GREAT WAY TO ENCOURAGE KIDS STUDYING.

The ss � portfolios include:

. homeworks and assignments, like pictionaries, reading notes, compositions, webquests...

. Ss � self-evaluations

. Ss � self-regulation wks, which I call "think about your learning and performance": there are about 15 during the school year.

Some of these materials are included, by the end of the year, in my own portfolio, under a section where I gather evidence of the ss� work and use of ICT.

My portfolio is much more complex, but since you�re Spanish, I guess that, if I sent you the contents, you would understand how it�s organized.

What do you say?

Thanks to all of you. I was referring to student �s portfolio. I didn �t know if it was usual to include all of their works or only specific ones.
