Hi Everyone! Spelling Tasks are important!!! How do you teach Spelling ?
My pupils get twice a week 10 words which must be learnt for a spelling test. Sometimes they learn only words,sometimes phrases or whole sentences.
Spelling in English is hard even for those of us who have been practicing for years!
I use the following tips which help my pupils make studying spelling words a whole lot easier.
1. Look at the word
2. Say the word.
3. Try to memorize the letters in the word.
4. Write the word from memory. (You can write the word more than once)
5. Check to see if you were right.
6.play wordgames /all types of word games and puzzles can help you learn to spell!
7.keep a spelling list
By practicing these techniques, you should see a big improvement in your ability to spell English words correctly
