I would like to suggest a game in this summer afternoon here in Spain. Its a game I use with my students many times.
What about trying to find the name of an animal starting with each letter of the alphabet?
The same can be done with other topics, but today, lets start with animals.
Here it goes my suggestion:

C- cow/ crocodile/ cat
D- donkey/ deer/ dolphin
E- eagle/ elephant
F- fox/ flamingo/ fish/ fly
G- goose/ goat/ giraffe/ gorilla
H- horse/ hen/ hippo/
I- ??? (I cant think now of any animal starting by i)
J- ?
K- kangaroo/ koala
L- leopard/ lion/ lizard
M- monkey/
N- ?
O- octupus/ owl/ ostrich
P- parrot/ penguin
Q- quail
R- rabbit/ racoon/
S- spider/ shark/ snake/ seal/
T- Tortoise
U- urchin
V- vulture
W- wolf/ whale/ worm/ wasp
X- ?
Y-?
Z- zebra

Thanks a lot, but you can play the whole game. You can suggest your animals for each letter. |

I: Iberian Lynx , Ibex, Ibis, Iguana, Irish Setter, Irish Wolfhound, Iberian Hound, Ibizan Hound (I know- getting a little obscure perhaps) J: Jaguar, Jackal, Jack Russell Terrier N: Narwhal, Newfoundland, Nautilus Y: Yorkshire Terrier
If you want to make it harder why don t you get them to do it for animals found in Spain (Just by the by: the Iberian Lynx is the world s most endangered wild cat, sad eh)
As for the x you could say "animals containing the letter "x" (like they do in the TV prog "Pasapalabra!). And there you could use Lynx again!!!

Buen finde!
