Give Me 5 BoardGame with Question Cards (Assemble 2 pages to make the board.)
Instructions:
Students will need a die and tokens to play this game. Students start at the top of the board on the purple pentagon. They roll the die and then take a card and read it out loud. They must answer with words or complete sentences.
For Example:
Name 5 types of dessert.
Apple Pie, Chocolate Cake, Plum Pudding, Sponge Cake, Cherry Tart
Five desserts are
. apple pie, chocolate cake, plum pudding, sponge cake, and cherry tart(s).
Students must give 5 answers to be able to move ahead.
Assembly:
To assemble this game you will need to print out pages 1 and 2 and tape them together. Then cut out 1 large Give Me Five clip art and glue it to the center of the large white pentagon.
Laminate your board or cover it with some sort of clear plastic.
Print out the question cards on pages 3 and 4. To create more cards, please fill in the cards on pages 5 and 6.
Please note that the green background behind the board can be removed by going to Backgrounds and setting the colour to white or no colour. The background is actually made up of two colours, so you may need to go into the option for 2 colours and set both colours to white. (I hope that makes sense.)
The white backgrounds that you see on pages 3 -8 are actually white rectangles. You can remove them if needed.
The tiny Give Me Five clip art can be used on the purple pentagon or can be copied/duplicated many times to help create backing cards for the questions cards if you need them.
There are 27 spaces on the board, not a multiple of 5 like I planned
..
Enjoy!
