GRAMMAR IN CONTEXT - THE PASSIVE - (TWO FLASH-CARDS)
A different game to practise the Present and PastPassive.
Ss are supposed to work in line.Start a chain game.
1.Give in one flash-card to the first student in one line.
2.This student has to turn the first sentence of the story into the passive.
3. The second student will repeat the same passive sentence and add the next sentence in the passive.
4. The game goes on. If a student makes a single mistake, the line stops playing and another line starts again.
5. The game finishes when all the lines have tried a chain. The winners are the students in the line that could memorize more passive sentences.
Example:
St 1 The bell was rung.
St 2: The bell was rung and the door was opened by a young lady.
St 3: The bell was rung, the door was opened by a young lady and a bunch of red roses with a card were given …, and so on…
