The Cheater Game. Cards template.
The cheater game is based on the TV show where the contestant are asked to answer general knowledge questions. However, one of them has all the answer to those questions. a very fun way to make your students communicate while having fun. Suitable for groups under 10 people.
Procedure:
First, distribute the cards to the students and include one card with all the answer to your questions. The 8 questions are divided in 3 rounds. Round 1 is question 1-3 and they are worth 50 points, round 2 is questions 4-6 and is worth 100 points and round 3 include questions 7-8 and is worth 150 points.
Between each round, the students can accuse another classmate of being the cheater. have a discussion around it, who´s bluffing, who´s too good, who should have known this and that answer.
Finally, After the last round, students make their final decision on who is the cheater. The points are then divided like this. The people that voted for the cheater split all the points of the cheater. The cheater takes all the points of the people that didn´t vote for him.
I always have lots of fun with this, hope you can have too. Also, make a progression in the questions. The first one being the easiest question and the eighth one the hardest. Enjoy!
