Parsonīs Pleasure Jigsaw Reading
This is a jigsaw reading exercise where students work in groups of 3, each having a different part of a story adapted from a short story by British author Roald Dahl.
Each student reads his or her portion of the story (best NOT to mention the stars in the upper right corners of their papers) and then take turns asking the others the questions at the bottom of their story. By answering the questions and discussing, they work out the complete story.
Be sure to remind them that occasionally there will be TWO answers to a question, in which case they will have to discuss about which answer is the true one and which one is not true.
Always an enjoyable activity!
