A drawing Game
This is a drawing game, based on Pictionary, which can be played with a few children.
Each child is given a set of pictures of familiar objects and line drawings of the same objects. The set with each child is different.
Each child also has a plain paper notebook.
The first child will choose one of the objects s/he has. Referring to the line drawing of the object, s/he will complete a part of the drawing, show the others and ask them to guess the object.
If they cannot, then the child will draw some more part of the object and repeat the process.
Each child can complete the drawing in 3 stages, adding more details at each stage.
If others are not able to guess, then the child will show the picture of that object and announce its name.
Then the next child gets a chance.
The purpose of the game is to improve drawing abilities of children.
It also improves the ability to guess an object, from the incomplete drawing of it.
Children’s skill will improve with practice. They will also learn to decide which part of the drawing to present, so as to make the guess difficult.
