-ING RULES MATCHING GAME
THIS BOARD GAME WAS MADE TO REINFORCE OR TO TEACH STUDENTS THE
-ING RULES FOR THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS. THE TEACHER HAS TO STICK ON THE BLACKBOARD THE RULES, CUT THE VERBS AND GIVE THEM TO THE STUDENTS SO THAT THEY CAN CLASSIFY THEM ACCORDING TO THEIR CORRECT ENDINGS.THE SOLUTION IS PROVIDED BY PRESENTING THE VERBS ACCORDING TO THEIR SPELLING RULES IN THE LAST THREE PAGES. THAT IS, THE THIRD PAGE CONTAINS THE VERBS THAT GO WITH THE -ING RULE; THE FOURTH PAGE CONTAINS THE VERBS THAT GO WITH THE -E+ING RULE AND THE FIFTH PAGE CONTAINS THE VERBS THAT GO WITH THE DOUBLE CONSONANT + ING RULE. THE GAME CAN BE PLAYED IN THE BLACKBOARD IN GROUPS OF TWO, FOR EXAMPLE A GIRL REPRESENTING THE OTHER GIRLS AND A BOY REPRESENTING THE OTHER BOYS FROM THE CLASSROOM; OR IT CAN BE PLAYED IN MORE GROUPS ON THEIR TABLETS AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CLASSIFY THE VERBS ACCORDING TO THEIR RULES IN THE LEAST TIME POSSIBLE. THE GROUP WHO FINISHES FIRST OR IN THE LEAST TIME WITH ALL THE VERBS CORRECTLY CLASSIFIED IS THE WINNER!!
