2 Time GAMEs + Present Simple - Past Continuous - 22 clocks, 2 GAMES ((4 pages + BW printer friendly))
22 clocks! This is listening - speaking game – give 4 cards to 4 students (teams). First student reads the start time. - It is 1:00 AM. The second finds 1:00 and continues 13:50. Higher elementary students tell the time and then say what they USUALLY DO at xx o´clock....Pre-intermediates talk about past: What were you doing at five past one AM? I was in bed and I wasn’t sleeping – I was reading a book!... The fifth student is a secretary - write all the numbers and activities (draw clocks). CAN BE USED WITH upper-intermediate to practise PAST PERFECT, FUTURE PERFECT ETC... Can be cut and used as flashcards as well... Old game, but very effective! Enjoy...
