Speaking Game
This game is intended to motivate the students to speak. Since it is done in groups or pairs, the students feel more free to speak about themselves or to express their opinions. The file comes along with rules, and itīs a good idea to both explain the rules beforehand and also to hand out the rules, so they can read them and remember. You simply have to print out the cards, cut them out and give each group a bunch, along with the rules. There are more than a hundred cards, so itīs more than enough for an average size class, and if some are not relevant to your kids, you can take them out. You can also add some questions of your own. I have tried this activity with my 11th graders who are preparing for their matriculations, and it worked out great!
