Santa is Stuck in the Chimney! 2 Page Board Game with over 100 spaces (72 word cards included)
Instructions:
Here is my Santa is Stuck in the Chimney game. This idea made me laugh so I just had to make it for you. I drew all the elements except for Santa and the elf. Students will need a die and tokens to play this game.
Student must rescue Santa Claus. They start on the bottom and work their way up the chimney. Each player rolls the die and then draws a little word card. The must read or define the word on each card. For more advanced students they must create a question for each card like this:
Card: Rudolph
Questions:
Who is Santa’s lead reindeer ?
Which reindeer’s name starts with R ?
Name the only reindeer with a bright red nose.
This means that the card shows the answer, so they must create a question to go with it. I hope that makes sense.
I have also added some stars to the game board. When students land on a star they may roll again, get bonus points or perform a special challenge that you have selected.

P.S. Please make sure this game is appropriate for your class. Some young, sensitive learners may not find this idea funny. If that is the case, please change the clip art to suit your needs. Thank you.
