The Platypus (Multi-task worksheet): Encrypted reading + Comprehension exercise + Vocabulary exercise + Wordsearch (including a hidden message!)
Thank you very much for your yesterday´s comments! Firstly, students have to decipher the words which are represented by numbers and then they must do the comprehension & the vocabulary exercises. Afterwards, they must find the words which are related to this beautifully odd animal. When they finish this search, they’ll be able to read a hidden message (“This mammal lays eggs") by collecting the first remaining letters. The layout is much nicer than the one displayed here.
