Do you know what the..... comparatives and superlatives speaking exercise
Such a stupidly simple speaking exercise I canīt believe it took me almost a year of teaching to figure it.
Each student gets a answer sheet to fill in, and one correct answer. They have to ask all the other students all the questions on the list until the student they are asking has the relevant question. They fill it in on their sheet, and then they can help other students by giving them the correct answers.
It starts slow but gets fast as their sheets get filled in. And my kids always get rowdy and loud, and end up just shouting out the questions until someone with an answer responds. Which is perfect for over coming shyness and inhibitions.
My class is 22 people so there may be too many, too few answer slips. You can always add, take away some, the formatting on the page is easy.
Lots of lively fun and so simple!
