Comparative game Comparative game

This is a board game you can play in small groups. Students need their notebook, a pen and a dice for each group. Students have to write sentences using comparatives, depending on the square they land on. Example: if they land on number 1, they have to write something like "Iron is heavier than silver." When they land on the coloured squares, they have to write a sentence saying a subject which is more interesting than English (so you can revise school subjects vocabulary). If they cannot reach the end and win the game in the allotted time or if they cannot think of any subject which is more interesting than English, then they write with capital letters: ENGLISH IS THE BEST SUBJECT... and the teacher wins the game! I learnt this game from Tina McLynn, at a GRETA (an English Teachers Association in Andalucía, Spain), but I changed the content and added the coloured squares...
