Comparatives Board Game Part I
This is a board game to practice Comparatives and Superlatives. Divide the class into small groups and give each group a board game and a set of cards with the adjectives. The children throw the dice and move the right number of squares. Then they pick up an adjective card and make up a sentence about the pictures on the board game. If it is correct, they get the number of points in that square. If it is not correct, they get no points. In this game there are penalties(sad faces) and rewards(happy faces). If they land on a reward square, they get the points there. But if they land on a penalty square, they must deduct the number of points from their total. The winner is the one with more points.
