How to teach grammar (argh!) to the bored ones – Comparatives and Superlatives [games, questions and suggestions] ((3 pages)) ¨¨editable
Here you’ll find some ideas on games to teach or practice “Comparatives & Superlatives”. I used the games described with my beginners in 2010 and it works, they enjoyed and learned really fast. The games are for children and teenagers, adults prefer other kinds of activities and feel insecure or embarrassed in competitions. I confess that I also use the games to keep the order in class. I say: “if we finish this part of this lesson 20 minutes before the end of the class, we’ll have a game… “ Some games suggested (with full instructions) on the first page; board instructions on the second; questions to use during the game on the third page. Hope it helps. Thanks for downloading and have a nice day.
