Reading Comprehension: A Team on an Airplane
This is a reading evaluation for the end of a unit on teamwork. I hope to upload the other three practice exercises over the next week. It can also be used as a reading comprehension exercise.
Things to know:
Part 1 is intended to be done as a warm-up to activate prior knowledge and get students thinking about the text BEFORE they read. I am not picky about what they write for answers.
I explain the vocabulary words before we begin to save the time it takes them to look up all the words in the dictionary.
I teach the students to read each text multiple times, looking for more in-depth information each time. This reflects the way we tend to read non-fiction texts in real life, even in our native languages.
