Story Writing Project Outline -- A Day in the Life of an Ancient Egyptian worksheet

Students will work in groups of two or three to write and illustrate a short story about a day in the life of a character in ancient Egypt. This is a handout describing the project. After my students complete the Egypt unit in their textbook, they will complete this writing project. The second and third page provide a writing guide. My students are first year beginners, so I´ve created the writing guide to give them the structures for the writing. They will then fill in the blanks with vocabulary that they have learned in this chapter. This activity allows students to become familiar with the structure of a story while reviewing what they´ve learned about life in Ancient Egypt.
