Reduced adjective clauses, writing with gerunds, improving writing, descriptive writing, creative writing, ESL
Students transform normal sentences into little masterpieces by following a simple formula.
Example: "An old gray wolf moved toward the chicken," changes to "Creeping silently through the tall grass, an old gray wolf moved toward the chicken," when students follow a three-step process. The technique is explained on the first page. Additionally students are given some vocabulary which can be used in the activity. The second page contains the "how to" instructions once again and ten sentences that students will rewrite using the technique.
I have neglected to add color or anything flashy. The content speaks for itself -- you can pretty it up if you wish. This is 100 original, usable with ESL and very helpful for beginning writers.
