Relative Clauses also pose enormous hurdles to Chinese ESL learners because the way and position we form and put Chinese relative clauses are different from the English counterpart. This exercise focuses on teaching students defining and non-defining relative clauses. Answers are provided. However, it is advised that teachers could discuss each of the questions with students so as to let them think why particular sentences are defining or not.
