Game: Storytelling Activity with linkers worksheet

This is a set of words which you can use to teach some linkers. You can decide if you want your students to do this activity in pairs, small groups or the class as a whole. You should print enough copies for the groups and cut every chunk of expression, then fold them and put in two separate plastic bags: one for the general vocabulary and the other for the connectors. Ask the first student to pick one from the first bag and narrate the situation; the follow students should pick one from each bag and continue the story. Tip: I used to do this as a "hot potato" with the whole class; the students love it.
