Students love it!!! We always go for a walk at the end of the unit(three or four blocks away from our Institute). Give everybody a worksheet and put them in pairs. You assign each pair different items they will have to count while walking down the streets. When the "tour" is over and everybody is in the classroom, they have to walk around asking the rest of the students: "HOW MANY TREES WERE THERE?". In order to have more oral practice, students have to give the answer of the items they counted only, and say "I DON´T KNOW" to the others.
