Cards with sentences for grammar practice - 72 cards
Prepare the game:print and glue the pages with the numbers on the back of the 4 colors pages. There is no right order.
After that, cut into 72 cards with four different actions to be done (18 sentences each = put into negative, or affirmative, or interrogative, or even correct the sentence)
Organize the classroom: place the cards - written face down, numbers up - in the middle of the table, scrambling them.
Students should be divided in pairs, with a sheet of paper in front of each one and a pen.
Organize the pairs around the table in order to have each pair in front of each other.
Play the game : the student choose a card and give the card to the colleague. The other student read the sentence, and give the instruction in red.
If the student that had chosen the card can do it correctly, he take note on the number in the back of the card as points earned.
If it is wrong, the points go to the student that read the activity.
To the teacher
1) Tell the students that when he choose the card he is placing a bet, for him or for the colleague.
2) Limit the time in order to avoid the students using all the cards, so the points are going to be different
3) If all the cards finish, scramble them and make the pile again.
