The End of the World The End of the World

Itīs the end of the world and students must select six people to save and join them on a rocket. There are 12 people begging to be let on the rocket. Students must choose the 6 they select and then work in groups of 3-4 to negotiate a final 6. Focus is on modals, to give opinions and use conditionals. Afterwards, the teacher can select the least popular candidates and split the class for a role play: members of the class make the case to get on the rocket whilst the others listen and decide their fate (kangaroo court).
