Quotation chain exercise to practice modifiers

Quotation chain exercise to practice modifiers
Each students gets a piece of paper with two sentence fragments. On two papers there is only one sentence fragment: one beginning and one ending. The student with a begenning starts the chain with reading out his/her half of the sentence. The student who has the end of the first sentence finishes the quotation and continues the chain.
A controlled activity for practice reading and listening skills. With the repetition pharases could be learnt easily.
As a follow up, these quotations can generate conversation on the ideas mentioned in the quotation.
