Grammar. Singular and plural. Part 2
When speaking, we use words to define quantities by often adding the letter ‘s’ to those words (nouns) which are visible and signify more than one.
This doesn’t apply to uncountable nouns. These are things we can’t count and include anything liquid, such as water or coffee; or items such as money, air or fruit. If we can’t count (quantify) something, by definition we can’t say how many we have.
