RESCUED MINERS RESCUED MINERS

An adaptation on the reporter type activity. Students read the article and then are divided into groups of reporters and miners. The reporters must correctly form questions in the past while the miners are inventing their stories also in the past. After 15-20 minutes miners are paired up with reporters and interviewed (whether or not miners can use their notes in the interview depends on teacher). After interview reporters report to the class what the miners told them.
