I used this text as a basis to introduce the passive voice. It totally caught my students and I have never seen my class as silent and as willing to work as in this lesson. Tasks: 1. Read the text and find out what is done to the elephants. 2. Underline all verbs that describe what is done to elephants By those tasks the students alread get confronted with the passive voice. After this you can do the theory based on examples of the text.
