Long vowels: a
This series of worksheets is something I did for a Saudi student I am tutoring. He speaks and understands English very well, and his vocabulary is high, but he has trouble with the English alphabet, both pronouncing words in reading and in writing with them. These worksheets are unique in that they combine a lot into one worksheet, starting with elementary pronunciation for the long vowel in focus, and then varying activities with an emphasis on reading and writing. The pronunciation is elementary, but the reading and writing are closer to intermediate level. Hope itīs useful!
