I teach the correct pronunciation first by having students repeat the words after me two or three times. Then I call out one word of each pair and ss circle what they hear. I write the words I said on the board and ss tally how many they got right. I record all the scores on the board and get a grand total. Then I have volunteers come to the front and do the same. I keep a tally of their scores. The students seem to enjoy it and they are always interested in how they do.
