This worksheet contains six IPA sound groupings, divided into sections, that students studying English often find difficult. Each section has two sentences that each use many sounds from that section, grouped tightly together. The result is a difficult and humorous pronunciation activity. Although designed for East Asian students, these sounds are difficult to produce properly for most non-native speakers. The goal is to get students to be able to distinguish between the sound groupings and ideally, reproduce the sounds accurately by reading the sentences aloud.
